Please Note: For the following activities, please pay once for your scout, and add another payment for leaders that are attending.
We will be going to the Santa Cruz Mountains to take a one-day survival skills training camp (Adventure Out). The camp will teach scouts survival skills for shelter, water, fire, and food. This activity is towards requirements for the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
Date: March/April (We do not have an exact date yet, but will be a Sunday in Late March or Early April. We will have an exact date within the next few weeks)
Cost: The total cost is going to be between $85 and $115 per person (scouts and leaders).
We will be going on a one-day whitewater rafting trip down the American River. These will be Class III/IV rapids. All gear will be provided. This trip will also include an overnight stay in a cabin at Sutter Creek on Friday and Saturday nights. This activity meets rank requirements for newer scouts worker on Tenderfoot and more senior scouts working on Star/Life.
Date: May 31st – June 2nd
Cost: The total cost for this trip will be between $150 and $175 per person (scouts and leaders).
